There is no better place to watch Independence Day Fireworks than from the comfort of your boat.
|Here are a few great spots for boaters in the Hampton Roads, Virginia area to watch the sky explode with color on our country’s birthday!!|
From 8:00pm-9:30pm, performances by Symphonicity (the symphony orchestra of Virginia Beach) with the Virginia Beach Chorale will perform on the 20th Street Stage. The show segues into a spectacular fireworks show at 9:30pm!
Fireworks start along the Elizabeth River at 9:30 pm between the skylines of Downtown Norfolk and Portsmouth. Anchor out in the water, enjoy the music and fireworks show.

Historic Fort Monroe will have a “close proximity” fireworks starting at 9:15pm with the US Navy Fleet Forces Wind Ensemble. For details, go to www.fmauthority.com/calendar.
At 9:15, Fireworks wrap up a day long celebration at Riverwalk Landing in Yorktown. Festivities include a parade, 5K run, arts and crafts, kids’ games, pony rides, a classic car show, live entertainment, and food. At 8 pm there will be a patriotic concert by the Fife and Drums
