I’d like to say how much I appreciate the great service I received at Lynnhaven Marine on March 20 & 21 2005. I talked to you several months earlier about service and repair to my Pontoon boat and that I didn’t want to trailer it and could you lift it out of water and do the work and put back in water in reasonable amount of time. The lift people told you they didn’t think they could lift a Godfrey Tri-toon so you personally came to my home and took measurements that proved that they could lift it. When I contacted you this month to make arrangements, you set it up for me to drop boat at marina dock, had it lifted out and service and repairs done and put back in water next day.

Work was completed satisfactory with one small issue with trim gage noticed when I returned boat to my dock. I contacted you and you had technician respond next day to correct.

I’m 84 years old and want to thank you personally for all you did to help me. I need someone to be on the boat with me (usually my son, who is busy with work and 4 kids) so I have to schedule around him. You told me if my son was tied up you would personally come and take the boat in with me. When we picked up boat you went over all the work and charges and later that day followed up with a phone call to ensure there were no other issues.

It was a pleasure doing business with you and Lynnhaven Marine.

I recently had my boat in for service, repair and manufacture recall work with Lynnhaven Marine.

From initial diagnostics to final repairs and upgrades I couldn’t be more pleased.

Dave Uhl, and Shop Foreman, Vinnie , spent a great deal of time exploring the best options between OEM and aftermarket parts to help me make more cost effective decisions on repairs and upgrades. They dealt directly with both Mercury Marine and my boat manufacturer to ensure all warranty and recall work was correct and timely. They explained every aspect of the pros and cons throughout the process, and were always available to discuss in depth when I had questions or concerns.

Quite simply, their patience and attention to every detail was impressive!

Lastly, the cost of the entire project was always explained and there were no surprises with my final bill. I believe they provided value for every dollar I spent.

I just wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone on the Lynnhaven boatel team! From the ladies in the office to the guys running boats to the water, every single one is a true professional running a well-oiled machine. I really can’t say enough good things about my time in the boatel. The convenience of having the boat there is well worth it, but it was the staff that really made this place great. This crew absolutely crushed it this summer. I look forward to seeing you all again in the spring.

Special thank you to Business Manager Mike Henson. My father bought a boat from Lynnhaven Marine in Aug of 2015. It was his first boat bigger than a 14ft jon boat. ..it was his dream boat he decided to buy as his retirement gift. It was his 2nd retirement from the US ARMY, both as enlisted and as civilian. Saying he deserved it was an understatement. He unfortunately became ill right after purchasing the boat. He became so weak that he couldn’t do things necessary to take the boat out, but he was just happy to sit inside of it. It was docked within walking distance of his home in Ft Monroe so he would do this often. In july of 2016, he passed away. I just wanted to let the staff over at Lynnhaven Marine know that he did nothing but say great things about you all. “They took real good care of me” were his exact words when talking to others. He loved his boat…it was his dream come true. It is now a family heirloom that will last forever. Again, special thank you to Business Manager Mike Henson who took the time out of his day to guide me on matters that come with boat/trailer paperwork brought about by the unfortunate passing of a loved one.

We purchased our boat brand new, stored it in the boatel and even found a buyer for it at Lynnhaven. They provided excellent customer service every step of the way in every single dept and aspect of the business. We will definitely use them again should we decide to purchase another boat someday.
